I am in a writing class (and will likely be in more) so, I will be posting some of my writing. I also hope to start blogging again soon. It has only been since April, I last blogged.
Woodland Path…what a strange scent to capture, but it must do it well, for it is showing its age. Once solid features have melted, drawn down as the fire of life has engulfed its wick. It smells less like woods and more like wax as its fuel is nearly depleted; it keeps the flame going, enduring against a sudden wind, light mist, and other such predators. Yet the glow, the glow is just as gentle, just as comforting as the day it was born, the day it was first set up to be both fragrant and radiant. The light of its flame while deeper and dimmer still brings rushes of enjoyment, relaxation, and perhaps even still allows one to get lost down a woodland path.
